Contracts Manager
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with working knowledge of the Business Process Outsourcing industry for a contract-to-hire opportunity to join our Legal team. This role will be responsible for contract lifecycle management on the Legal team, handling agreements of varying complexity overseeing contract operations, and providing legal administrative support on other initiatives and projects. While this role begins as a contract position, there is potential for full-time, permanent employment based on performance and business needs. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all stages of the contract process, including administration of database management and reporting.
- Ensure contracts move through the end-to-end review and approval process timely
- Review standard contracts, such as non-disclosure agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statement of Work, and Employment Contracts, and maintain contract templates. Assist with the development, maintenance, and proofreading of standard contract templates, training materials, and knowledge management resources.
- Assist with document version control, including creating comparison files to facilitate reviews.
- Leverage technology to automate manual legal work, streamline document management, and simplify data collection.
- Engage with business partners to answer contract process-related questions and provide insights and recommendations.
- Ensure all relevant information from stakeholders is incorporated into contracts and collaborate on necessary adjustments.
- Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support to determine the best course of action escalating issues timely.
- Support the development and implementation of policies, practices, and guidance for contract operations (e.g., training materials, guides, etc.).
- Conduct legal research and assist with regulatory and compliance initiatives.
- Prioritize initiatives, breaking down large projects into smaller tasks.
- Participate in special assignments and provide ad hoc support as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience, including but not limited to contracts management, paralegal work, or similar roles within an in-house legal department or law firm with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of various standard commercial contracts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills incorporating excellent critical thinking and attention to detail/accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible, solution-oriented, and adaptive to constantly changing priorities, as well as effectively managing and resolving conflicts.
- Proven ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional teams and internal/external partners.
- Excellent organization and planning skills, and the ability to prioritize workloads and juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Working knowledge of the BPO industry is highly preferred
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), SharePoint, and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a legal or business-related field, or equivalent years of related experience in lieu of degree.

- Currently reside in one of these states: AR, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI & WY to be considered
- Since this is a fully remote position, the selected candidate must have a dedicated home office environment that ensures security and confidentiality. The workspace should be free from distractions, have reliable internet access, and allow for the secure handling of sensitive information in compliance with company and legal guidelines.
