Job Summary The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, operation, and maintenance of all site facilities to ensure uninterrupted business operations in a BPO environment. The role covers critical facilities, utilities, data center equipment, security systems, infotainment systems, and vendor management, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Facilities Operations & Maintenance
Supervise daily facilities operations, including but not limited to air conditioning systems, electrical systems, UPS, FDAS, and related utilities.
Ensure continuous production operations through effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Conduct regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of all facilities-managed equipment.
Maintain accurate facilities records, files, and databases.
Data Center & Electronics Systems
Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of data center equipment, including servers and related infrastructure.
Supervise the installation and maintenance of electronic and security systems such as:
Network Video Recorders (NVR)
IP Cameras (CCTV)
Door Access Control Systems (DACS)
Biometric and RFID devices
Electromagnetic door locks
Infotainment Systems
Ensure proper maintenance, operation, and testing of infotainment systems, including but not limited to:
Televisions
Cable set-top boxes
Karaoke machines
Electronic gaming and entertainment equipment
People & Vendor Management
Supervise, coach, and develop all direct reports to ensure high performance and compliance with standards.
Supervise outsourced contractors and service providers to ensure tasks are completed on time and within agreed scope and quality standards.
Assist the Facilities Manager as a primary point of contact with lessors regarding leased space concerns and facility-related issues.
Asset Management & Compliance
Manage facilities assets and inventories, ensuring proper control, documentation, and accountability.
Actively participate in company safety programs, audits, and compliance initiatives.
Support the achievement and maintenance of departmental objectives and KPIs.
Qualifications and Requirements Education & Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in:
Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE)
Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
Civil Engineering (BSCE)
Must be a licensed ECE, EE, ME, or CE.
Experience
At least 2 years of experience as a Facilities Supervisor in a BPO or similar 24/7 operational environment.
Minimum of 2 years supervisory or people management experience.
Technical & Professional Competencies
Strong knowledge of facilities equipment and systems, including:
Electrical systems
HVAC systems
UPS and critical power systems
Data center operations
Electronics and security systems
Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Proven ability to manage contractors and service vendors.
Certifications
BOSH or COSH Certification (required).
Work Conditions
BPO environment supporting 24/7 operations
On-site role requiring availability to respond to urgent facilities and operational issues
Must be willing to work on a graveyard (GY) shift and flexible with rotating schedules as required
