Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, developers, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project management, engineering, finance) to ensure client needs are met.

  • Negotiate contracts and close deals that align with company goals.

  • Monitor project progress and client satisfaction to ensure long-term partnerships.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the construction industry.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycle, and industry regulations.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Existing network of contacts in the construction industry.

  • Experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
