Position Summary
The in-house Corporate Senior Attorney will lead the legal function, overseeing all aspects of legal strategy, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. With at least 3 years of legal experience in the BPO industry, you will be instrumental in advising senior leadership, managing legal risks, and ensuring that our operations align with applicable laws and regulations.

This fully remote position also involves supervising a paralegal team, fostering professional growth, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all legal processes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing actionable legal guidance.
  • Drive legal strategies to support corporate goals, mergers, acquisitions, and expansion.
  • Identify, mitigate, and manage legal risks across multiple business operations.

Contract and Document Management
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and approve contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and employment agreements.
  • Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and US regulations.
  • Manage and maintain corporate records and filings.
  • Oversee intellectual property management, including trademarks and copyrights.

Corporate Governance and Compliance
  • Lead corporate governance efforts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and develop actionable insights for the organization.
  • Monitor and adapt to changes in legislation that impact the BPO industry.

Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Supervise, mentor, and guide the paralegal team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external counsel to ensure seamless legal operations.
  • Oversee responses to regulatory bodies and compliance program documentation.


 

Key Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of corporate legal work experience in the BPO industry or a closely related field (i.e., shared services, IT software outsourcing, contact center operations, or outsourced consulting firms)
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, corporate governance, employment law, and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage legal risks and provide innovative, practical solutions.
  • Experience in establishing and structuring legal functions within a rapidly scaling organization, including developing policies, processes, and frameworks to support growth and compliance.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and research skills
  • Leadership experience in supervising an in-house legal team collaborating with diverse stakeholders and liaising with external legal advisors.

Education & Licensure
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.

Remote Work Requirements
  • Reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin & Wyoming.
  • Since this is a fully remote position, a dedicated home office environment that ensures security and confidentiality is required. The workspace should be free from distractions, have reliable internet access, and allow for the secure handling of sensitive information in compliance with company and legal guidelines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The benefits package includes, but is not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement plans, paid time off (PTO), and other company-provided benefits.
